Best way to get a physical address for GBP that's more central to a valuable geo? Hybrid Virtual Office? Shared Warehousing? Friend's home address?

I'm looking for suggestions/options around how to get an affordable physical business address that will be more central to a valuable city. I.e. if I'm a SAB, and my business address is registered to my home address which is 50 miles outside of a major city - such as Cincinnati, even though it's hidden, Google is still using it as a proximity signal. So I'm not ranking in Cincinnati.

I'm looking for affordable ways to get a physical business address that's more central to the major city so I can register my business at that address and list it on my GBP (but keep it hidden). That way, I actually have a chance at ranking in the most valuable area where I do business.

I've heard of doing virtual office spaces that actually have a lease, and power bill, and can receive mail to, like "TruLease." But I doubt that would work because of video verification... I know that I could also get shared warehousing space, but it would likely be more expensive...

You will need to lease some sort of business space to work out of - whether it be an office or warehouse space doesn't matter as much as it being a legally legit business address. By that, I mean you are registered as a business to work out of the address and have proof with that address on it like state registration, insurance, tax forms etc.

A co-working or shared warehouse space could work, but you need to be 100% solid with setting up your business documents at that address, AND you should work out of that space at least part of the time. Google is really against users "gaming" the system in such a way to get better rankings, so you need to actually set your business up to be legit at whatever address you choose. I suggest a stand-alone office space over a co-working space, or a warehouse space that is actually useful for your business.

If you want the address to show, you need to follow more guidelines too, such as permeant signage and staff on site during stated business hours. If you are an SAB it is not likely you will be able to show your address.

A friend's house is not a good idea and would be against Google policy.
