Thanks Colin. I'd say we see more leads, which can also lead to more closed leads ... so quality is impacted. We're not after less leads. ;)

A couple things that we see in those switching from live chat to texting from the website are:
1. More interactions - text is easier/familiar and aids in more questions and conversations
2. Fewer "abandoned" conversations, you can text the prospect as needed, not just when they are in the chat window
3. The ease of conversation allows you to mature the lead easier. We see some do this through text conversation and others move from texting to a qualifying form once the conversation is started. Our customers are also using Zapier to bring form answers back in to their Leadferno account so they can just interface with one tool.
4. Texting is far easier to manage for the business, and easier to exceed consumer expectations. See this study on reply time expectations of chat vs. text we completed.
 
Love a good integration with native text messaging app!

@AaronWeiche does this work with all Android and Iphone versions? Does it only work with the native text apps, or does it work with 3rd party apps like WhatsApp, Textra, Pulse, etc?
 
Hi Elizabeth- Thanks for the question.

Our app is both iOS and Android for the business to use/manage/text, the consumer is just communicating through their own messaging/SMS app. We currently are integrated with Facebook Messenger and in the process of Google Messaging. We haven't looked at WhatsApp or others yet, but will keep our eye there for sure. Thanks!
