Does anybody know where this logo pulls from?

Hi friends,

The logo is wrong for one of our clients. The below image is Google Maps mobile app. Anybody know where this sources from? The logo looks to be the previous brand name.

If a business is part of a chain, the logo and name will show like that. You can tell if a business is part of a chain by doing a branded search and seeing if they have a label with their brand like in this example.

Right - but if the logo is wrong - is there any recourse to fix it? That's the problem here, it's the wrong logo.

It's not using the one you set in the Google business profile?

That's exactly the issue. The logo is right in GBP, but not in that chain name logo. Putting the proper logo into GBP is not fixing this issue.

I assume you would have to change the logo in each GBP location for that to take effect, I did a quick search and I see 50 locations for that brand across North America.

The proper logo is in every single one of the GBP's. The problem is Natura sold Aesop to L'Oreal in Aug 2023. So, Aesop at one time was owned by Natura, but no longer is. The question really boils down to how do I get the Natura logo disassociated with Aesop. The solution is not properly enter in logo to GBP. I feel like this is a brand knowledge panel problem, but I'm not sure how/where you go about getting somebody to fix the association of knowledge graphs.
