I am working with a client who just started a new business. I created a new Google+ page for him. We waited a solid 2 weeks for the post card to arrive but it never did (hasn't arrived even to this day). I was able to eventually get it verified via Google's phone support. This was about 2-3 weeks ago now.
The page is verified and "ready to go" but it's not connected to Google Maps. I've called Google a couple times now and every time I call they tell me the page is verified and ready to go. It just needs to connect with Google Maps before it will go live. They keep telling me this will take 24-48 hours. Well it's been 2-3 weeks and the page still isn't connected to Maps.
Is this the normal process? And does it always take this long before a new page goes live? It's been ages since I've had to create a new Google+ page so I don't remember how long it takes.
Here is a link to the page in question:

Thanks,
