At some point Google is going to have to address this ghost town they have created.

Has Google+ Really Died?

The number of truly active users on Google is significantly less than 1% of the total 2.2 billion Google users, according to a study published on April 14, 2015 by Eric Enge at Stone Temple Consulting, a digital marketing firm with offices in Boston and California.

?The debate on the activity level on Google+ has raged for years,? writes Enge. ?How many users are really active on it? Is the place a ghost town?? Enge?s study represents a heroic effort to provide a quantitative answer. ?This is by far the largest such study to date,? writes analyst Mark Traphagen, ?looking at actual profile data.?

There isn't a better place for staying up-to-date on tech-related subject matter though (imo).

Thanks for sharing Justin!

Yes, so true Bryan. For me G+ is alive and well. But for the average consumer or business that's not in tech or marketing, not sure how popular it is.

Point. Counter point.

Despite the "near death" rumors, Google+ still has plenty of life left, and Google has no current plans to dismember it, believes columnist Mark Traphagen.

This is a VERY meaty post. Really need to read it!
