Using seconday phone number while creating citations

Hello, what if using a Secondary phone number in the citation is worth it? or it will break the NAP consistency as I watched Darren Shaw's (Whitespark) webinar where he is sharing one of his client case studies and used secondary phone number in all citations to avoid spam calls.

As long as that secondary number is also listed as a secondary number inside GMB you should be fine.
