For those of you who deal with Bing Places you know that there are duplicate listing issues, just like with Google Places.
I just received some great information on how to deal with duplicate listings that I wanted to share with y'all.
From Bing Places support:
you recently contacted us through our chat support wherein you inquired on the process of reporting duplicate listings. Please know that duplicate listings with the same name, address and phone number will eventually merge into one so you only have to wait. We don't have specific timeframe to share but we've seen cases where it took 2 - 4 weeks.
And if the duplicate listing has incorrect information, you have the following options.

And if the duplicate listing has incorrect information, you have the following options.
- Claim and update the duplicate listing. Changes usually takes 10 business days to reflect on the live site then after that, wait for both listings to eventually merge into one.
- Report the duplicate listings to us so we can escalate them to our Engineering Team for removal. Make sure that the good listing is claimed and verified on your account first. This may also take time to complete but we'll be providing you weekly updates.
