I'm on a trial of Wordstream now, and I do like the options it provides. Raven Tools is also very, very robust. I'll report back on my experience with Wordstream this week. So far, it fits the bill for small/medium sized businesses.

re: Google "Places" Robocall Scammer - Caught in Lies! Thanks Blake! Lenny will be my new "Director of Vendor Relations". That is absolutely amazing.

re: Google "Places" Robocall Scammer - Caught in Lies! If you're on Android, check out Total Recall. Works great on my LG G3. Since they tend to call me 3 times a day (only on my Google Voice number btw), I'll be ready to expand the conversation. Anyone else notice that they only get these...

I'm going through this now as well. However, my client gave me the option to renew the subscription if it makes more sense. I don't like being "under the thumb" of a platform like Yext, but is it worth it to break away?

re: Google "Places" Robocall Scammer - Caught in Lies! I get this call every day. It's insane. Anybody have a good call recording app/software?

Hi Alex, Hopefully it's just a bug, but I doubt it in this case. If you search "real estate consultant" and have location set, you *should* get a pack (*it is today). I imagine that Google sees an "agent" or "agency" as part of a larger company that may not need their own listing (whether...

setting location and then searching "real estate consultant" give me a pretty reliable pack for some cities and not others. See screenshots:

FYI - the real estate clients I have are returning no pack at the moment. However, if I search location + real estate consultant, I get a pack most of the time. If I change consultant to "agent", there is no pack. Food for thought.

Wow. This is really good Darren - especially the citation info at the end. Thanks for sharing Linda.

Re: Google "My Business" Launches! Goodbye Places for Business! HUGE Google Update! No matter where I login in takes me back to Google+ now. Except for the bulk dash, that's the only one that hasn't changed for me. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Re: Google "My Business" Launches! Goodbye Places for Business! HUGE Google Update! I'm curious, what are thoughts on managing multiple businesses within the new GMB dash? Should we still break them out into separate accounts or do we know if the accounts are independent of each other (and...

Interesting point, Phil. I have an old client that I still consult with from time to time. They were just upgraded to new dash and most of the time there is no photo in search results, which I find very odd. Is there a way to tell if a listing (any listing) is still in the old dash without...

Wow. That's just... awful. The real kicker will be when they jump to #1 and your client asks you to copy their "method".

Late reply here, but for our project mgmt, we use Trello. Works very well for our team. We use Highrise for our CRM.

When you used the word press KML generator, did it output any info to you? Did you have to download the file or did it provide a link to view the file? As was mentioned, it is usually in the form of www.yourdomain.com/locations.kml where you replace "yourdomain" with your actual site url.
