Thanks, @ElizabethRule I didn't realize I had to be legally registered. I'm not an employee of the gym but I am going to be a contractor, running my own business but out of this gym. Does that make a difference? Thanks!
I'm looking to set up a Practitioner Listing for my personal training business.
Since I'll be training clients at a local gym, I was wondering if I could use the gym's address for the GBP listing?
The gym is small with only 3 other personal trainers, and acupuncture, massage, and Tai Chi...
@JoyHawkins because of this, I've just kept the old office address she no longer uses in the larger city (where all her clients are). Just not sure how long I can keep this up!
Hi @JoyHawkins
What's the risk of the combined listing being reported because it might look keyword-stuffed as Conor mentions below?
Also, thank you for the help. Sterling Sky is an amazing resource!
Thanks, @Conor Treacy based on this do you recommend:
1. Creating one GMB listing e.g. "Rainbow Blinds and Rainbow Closets of Arizona"?
2. Or create a separate GMB for each (if I can get a 2nd phone #)?
Thanks!
Thanks, @Conor Treacy. They are two different businesses. Each is a franchise: One closet installs, the other blind installs.
But the names are VERY similar, and they have the same phone number, so it might look like two services instead of two businesses.
As I mentioned to Joy, I might...
Hi @JoyHawkins and thanks!
Sorry, I misstated that. They are actually two different businesses. Both franchises: One closets, the other blinds. But the names are VERY similar and they have the same phone number, so it might look like one business.
1. I might just create one GMB listing e.g...
I wanted to thank everyone for their help here. The owner and I decided to do the following:
The main office stays the same. It's the main office with signage so we'll show the address.
For the 4 satellite offices in smaller towns, each one of his contractor's houses: we've decided to hide the...
My client has a Blinds business and a Closet business. The names are very similar (franchise names) but they are two different services.
Website: We might create 1 website to represent the 2 businesses since they are similar home services. Do you think that is a good idea?
I’m confused by GMBs...
A potential customer has a home services business, part of a small, regional franchise. He has only one physical address (the main company office) but many satellite "offices" All the other GMB listings (in several states) each use an independent contactor's home address. He has not had trouble...
I have a client (a therapist) in a relatively large city – metro population 900K.
She's moving to a smaller city (14 miles away) of about 10K people.
With our work, she now has the top spot in the Google 3-pack in the larger city and a steady flow of clients. BUT with the address change...
One of my clients submitted a review and Google almost immediately deleted it. When I asked about it I received a canned response from Google about their review policies but the review was genuine, well-written, etc., so I don't know why it was removed. She tried to post the review again but...
There are two GMB listings ranking in the 3-pack for the term my client is trying to rank for.
Business Name A
Business Name B
A & B have different business names.
A & B have different addresses.
But they both point to the same exact website.
Business A's address doesn't appear to be an actual...
