I found 2 dupe listings and have been combing through the forum to figure out the best way to remove them, but at this point I'm just confused!
One dupe has the same biz name, but says the location is closed. The other has the practitioners name only.
From what I've read on the forum there...
My previous method for doing local keyword research relied on the following formula:
phrase - exact = % difference
If there was a large % difference between the phrase and exact searches then I knew this was a good keyword(s) to spend time researching. But, now that there's no phrase search...
This is an interesting thread. I understand the multiple sites vs one site argument. Personally, I think it depends on the competitiveness of the KW you are ranking for.
Please indulge this thought experiment: if one indeed does have multiple locations and each one a separate website...
Well, I have to say I'm quite confused by all this. Not sure where to start...but appreciate any input or pointing me to the correct resource.

I did google trends, then I put the top results into the adwords tool. It is important to note that trends said I didn't have enough search volume to do a geo-tagged searched so I was basically searching the same terms in both...
I am in the process of a redesign and one of my main keywords has a lot of synonyms. E.g. Home Contractor, Home Renovator, Home Renovation Service(s), etc...
I think the keywords I select should be a function of keyword volume VS competition strength VS keyword ability to bring in qualified...
