Looks like I had stumbled into a test. Half hour later and the format was back to normal. So that screenshot represents what is being tested.

I found one market today with what looks like new layout and functionality in maps. EDIT: Now I'm seeing this in all markets minutes later. Here's a screenshot: I think this just rolled out within the last hour because I literally refreshed results in other markets where I wasn't seeing...

I've been experimenting with changing suite numbers to numbers that don't actually exist so that they are guaranteed not shared with prior records and so far still no change. I have two clients both professionals offering same service in same building - different businesses, names, phone...

It's a tightening of spam filter with tightening of criteria for triggering duplicate filter. I'm pretty much convinced.

I want to reopen this topic again. I've now had an attorney with multiple locations get a DaVinci location suspended for the reasons discussed in this thread - not a staffed location / virtual location. They setup these locations years before I came on board so they didn't have anyone like me...

As I look more closely at what's happened with the personal injury search in Dallas, I think there's a possibility we may be seeing a difference in how the "centroid" works - at least in higher competition / metro areas.

It's a great article. But none of the criteria for disappearance are fitting my experience. I have organic rankings, authority, age, and non-duplication and still missing listings. I called GMB support and they confirmed no issue with listing (not that I was expecting anything from them). But...

Where before I said organic didn't seem significantly affected, I have to revise that. I'm now seeing noticeable upticks in organic rankings yet ironically, maps rankings still either down or disappeared for same businesses.

I've tried edits to both clients that went missing and neither one has come back after a couple hours wait.

Agreed - Changes I'm seeing are 3 pack and maps with little change in organic comparatively. I see more than one client attorney which was prior ranking 3 pack completely missing. I hope to god that it's a shuffle and they'll be back. What kind of edit is "soft"? Change in description verbiage or?

Re: Google Just Announced at #SMX 3 Pack will include 1 Ad & Only 2 Listings per Joy So if I have a #1 3 pack listing now and this thing goes into effect, I could conceivably also have #1 and #2 by buying #1 ... that seems wrong.
