Do you perhaps know of any tried and tested methods for promoting a Google business card? (Of course, I know about the reviews that should be included and the need to optimise it). However, on a local scale I still can't jump over the competition, what could be the effect of this?

With each update you don't really know what to expect, it was the same when 'Panda' came in. There were some changes, some positions went down, but then after some time everything slowly came back up, so there is nothing to fear but to wait.
