The profiles I saw in the past did not have a rwgtoken. Here are two examples where google has unilaterally "upgraded" a link originally entered by the business owner. None of them have UTMs at all (though google has added a "gei" parameter that is not documented anywhere I can find) Note that...
I have.
In my experience, this has usually been caused by concurrent edits to the address (hiding the address is an edit) and the service area. If one is still pending while the other is changed, you can end up in this weird in-between state. I have not run into it in quite a while, but if I...
Honestly, it doesn't seem that complicated? You show the address and go through the process that the vast of SABs do when they switch to showing the address. You said yourself Chandler is where you want to rank, so you're going to have to be more specific as to what you're scared of...
Have you double checked that no app is connected that might be enacting automatic reverts? I really should have the URL for that saved, but I unfortunately don't 😞
Okay, at this point this has run out of obvious answers (though caching issues are still my main guess). You'll probably have to try your luck with the support forum.
Stefan, people want to know when and how Google unilaterally chooses to put the book online button specifically when no integration exists with an external service.
Those links are, I'm sorry to say, pretty much literally the opposite of answering that question.
It looks like a simple caching issue, as it may take some time for service area boundary changes to fully propagate. In fact, it may well only be visible to you and your client. Have you confirmed by checking in an incognito mode window?
So, I misread what you said initially. You said the SAB "extends about 20 miles east of the city". (I thought it was extended out in all directions)
With that in mind, the red arrow, which you call "wrong", is in fact exactly where it's supposed to be: at the centroid of an area which is...
and which of the two arrow corresponds to the geometric centroid of the area?, because that is where the pin is supposed to be. If google hid the address, then showed its location just because you zoomed out, that would defeat the point.
I... Can't tell what's the actual triggering factor in your test? You seem to have forgotten to state that info...
If this is the differentiating factor, it is not everywhere, because in my examples above, the one that shows a weather widget is within walking distance of me, and the other are...
The service area being replaced by a pin when you zoom out enough is 100% normal, as annoying as it may be. Without seeing the area itself, I cannot confirm what's going on with the placement outside the area, though there are possible reasons.
The problem I reported above is that if your zone...
