I got started with building websites over 20 years ago in my previous career after being drafted because "he knows a little about computers".

After retiring in 2004, I built a few websites as a hobby and for friends and even got a few paying gigs. Around 2009 I (finally) started seeing the marketing potential of an online presence (beyond simply having a website) so I began pitching my services full-time for local businesses in my area (with serious doubts that anyone would actually pay me for such).

Shortly thereafter, the hyper-focus on local search emerged and here I am! Staying busy and enjoying the ride!
