I've seen this before when the listing was set up by someone using a different language. I contacted Google support about it was told that there was no way to fix this. Only way would be to close the current listing and start a new listing. I did not take them up on their offer.

This is normal behavior. For example, there may be many keywords that are irrelevant but you are still ranking poorly for. Then the algo adjusts and you are no longer ranking at all for some of those, lowering impressions and improving average rankings for the remaining keywords.
Sounds like it might be a filtering issue. Is there a competitor very close by?
I have seen also seen this when many of the businesses have the same keywords in their name.
That happens often. Google has a habit of keeping old urls in memory. If you've fixed everything then all you can do is keep validating the issue until the system decides to forget it.
If it was a real page, a redirect should be put in place for it though.
While on that analytics page you should see a list of pages if the analytics code was installed directly before you typed /blog/ in the field.
Also, if 'blog' is not in your url structure then it will filter to zero results.
Always start with the keyword research and trying to match how people search. In the case of Valley Stream, it's big enough that people would search for 'service + Valley Stream'.

There are no limits to what web pages you can create on your site. If you want to create a page that is optimized for Valley Stream, then go for it. Whether it ranks or not is another matter, but there won't be a penalty by doing so.
I don't have time to check further right now, but if you have any indents displaying for your pages and you are able to check what those two pages were ranking at before, it would be nice to know the separation they had before they got linked. Like in my post above, the pages were only four...
