I spent a considerable amount of time exploring the Google Business Profile help channels for a project, and thought I would summarize my findings here. If you want to know how to contact GBP support by email, this list provides a support channel for most GBP problems.

The Five "Main" Forms

Google has created 3 special forms, or “tools”, for handling specific types of issues:
1.) Reviews: The review management tool, for reporting reviews https://support.google.com/business/workflow/9945796
2.) Verification: The verification status tool, for all verification issues https://support.google.com/business/workflow/12825603
3.) Suspension: The appeals tool for suspensions https://support.google.com/business/workflow/13569690

The GetHelp form is the general, catchall form for almost everything else. https://support.google.com/business/gethelp

If you try to use the GetHelp form for one of the three special cases mentioned above, you won’t be able to contact support. Instead, it just gives you a big blue button to take you to the relevant tool. In other words, it will direct you to the correct tool if there’s one for your specific problem.

There is a fourth tool.
4.) Edits: For problems publishing edits to the profile https://support.google.com/business/workflow/15989794

I mention it separately because if you start with the GetHelp form and get to the point where it gives you a big blue button to take you over to the edits tool, you can move past it and contact support through GetHelp. (The other three tools don’t allow this.)

4 - edit pending.webp

These 5 forms cover most support problems for most users.

(Google does not refer to these as the "five main forms". That's just how I see them.)

Other Forms

There is a handful of forms for specific issues. Most are not well-publicized. This list is deliberately incomplete; some of the available forms are for very fringe cases (e.g. editing the phone number on a profile in India), or I don’t have evidence that they actually work.

Business Redressal Complaint Form: For reporting misleading information or fraudulent activity on Google Maps. This includes keyword-stuffed names, address problems (including cases where the business does not exist at that location), and phone number problems.

Report business conduct: For cases in which a business is offering incentives in exchange for reviews, or pressuring people to leave reviews.

Merchant Extortion: For cases where someone has launched a negative review attack and is demanding payment to remove the reviews.

Third Party Complaint (3P): For a wide range of abuses by unscrupulous agencies, including claiming your Business Profile without your consent or extorted consent from you, misrepresenting their relationship with Google, guaranteeing #1 rankings, and more. Also, for cases where a third-party platform refuses to remove an action link from your profile. (e.g. food ordering, reservation, etc.)

Note: You can contact support on X, but that appears to be hit or miss. IMO, these forms are more reliable.
