I have an estate planning client who is acquiring a second law firm (they are merging). The second law firm wants to keep its current online presence (such as their website and Google Business Profile) "up" for another six months or so. What is the best way to handle the Google Business Profiles? We don't really want the second firm's GBP to be marked as permanently closed after the six-month period.

Solution
Hi Kathleen, when the time is right, contact support and explain that the business was acquired and ask support to "move" the old one into the business GBP that acquired them.
