Posting "Feed Updates" on your GBP benefits?

I have seen both answers on posting on the GBP "feed updates" that is helps and that is does not help. We are considering posting multiple times a week. Will this have any impact on ranking or more keywords from searches or signal to Google we are active on this profile? I heard some people automate the postings and it seems to help and others say they saw no lift. Any thoughts?

Are you referring to the posts feature? I don't think you should really be looking at them from an SEO perspective. The effect on rankings is negligible, albeit slightly positive. But they do boost engagement and make your profile stand out
