Does a Personal Stylist Qualify for a Google+ Local Page

Thanks Linda, that helps. There is a 'Consultant' category so I think I'll take your suggestion on going with that. Interestingly enough I did find the following listings using a 'Image Consultants-personal' category which doesn't appear to exist when doing a category search in Google+. 'Beauty...

Does a Personal Stylist Qualify for a Google+ Local Page

Hmmm, the closest category I can come up with is 'Fashion Designer'. Do you think she would get this?

Does a Personal Stylist Qualify for a Google+ Local Page

Thanks Linda, I'll investigate further. When searching for her keywords there were no map results appearing so I thought perhaps this was because Google didn't list this type of business for some reason. Hopefully it just means there is a good opportunity for my client.

Does a Personal Stylist Qualify for a Google+ Local Page

Thanks for replying Linda. She is a fashion stylist so basically helps her clients put together their own look by helping them choose clothes and accessories to suit their lifestyle. She has helped a few famous people in Hollywood.

    Call Tracking + Schema...

Hi Andrew. When the tracking number is showing on the site and you do a view source does the tracking number or original number appear in the code? The call tracking we use does not alter the source code so even if the tracking number is displayed when you view the source it only shows the...

Hidden Merged Dupes under 2 account I control - what to do?

I'm not sure if this is of any help but I just deleted 2 dupes for a client. I felt pretty dumb because it took me about 45 mins to find the delete link. I realised 'Remove listing' must not be the same as deleting - you are just removing your ability to manage that page. Eventually realised I...

New Google+ Update for Geotagging Photos

Hi Eric, great to see you here ;D I agree that the last SEO must have merged. When I login on the social side there is no option to delete when browsing the photos. The new images I uploaded 2 days ago are now live. I used Geosetter to geotag before uploading but when viewing the images it...

New Google+ Update for Geotagging Photos

This helped me however I now have a related problem... a client has 2 merged G+ pages (one for each location) and the previous SEO had added a number of identical photos to both listings. They must have done this through the old places dashboard because I cannot edit location data. I want to...

Description Best Practices in the NEW Google Places Dashboard

Thanks Linda. When considering from the actual user's point of view it just gets complicated and confusing for them by adding a bunch of links to the site. It is probably best to say 'we accept insurance' rather than link directly to the page on the site about insurance as this would distract...

Google Places Guidelines - Reading Between the Lines and Changes

Great share, thanks Linda. I read through Mary's post quickly (will need to go back and re-read later) and I'm a little confused about email accounts. When setting up a listing we use a Google Account but Mary said 'Using a domain-associated email address adds a layer of trust to your...
