There are significant benefits in adding structured menu items to your GBP profile. They do trigger menu justifications for certain menu items and we have found similar to adding services they have a really nice impact for our restaurant clients.
We mostly use chain verification or our multi-location enterprise clients. There are still come instances when they ask for video verification, But mostly they go through especially if the name is the same etc
I agree with conversion from GMB growing year over year. We also looked into CTR Organic Listing in Position 1 and GMB listing in 3 Pack.
Organic listing CTR even in positon number one declining rapidly anywhere between ( 7-13% CTR) Maps pack CTR regurally 30-50% on any local intent keywords...
The part at the top is a Google Ads Local Campaign. They are using a thing called affiliated locations to be able to advertise on the GMB panel of your customers. This is currently running rampant with lots of companies doing it like doordash, menulog, viator, getyourguide etc. I doubt many of...
That might be triggering because it’s a brand search. If you try an keyword that does not have a brand in it, I would say this is Google trying to help with covid spreading

Which countries @Chaddow , We do alot of verifications in south east Asia an the pacific islands.
We have found some of them do have different processes if there is not much local data to go by ( citations etc)
We have a few restaurant clients using the ordering.app for this functionality, You can definitely bypass the delivery partners. There are few companies in Australia doing this like San Churro and Guzmen y Gomez , its still facilitated by a software partner. In the two examples above its...
Did it show in the search results @freerunr ? Also were you able to remove it? We had some similar situations here with so many changes and different verticals having different rules. Interested to see what actions you took to get it removed.
Hey @Jens do you have google search console utm tracking setup for the listing? One way we know when things start to move is an increase in long tail keywords we track in search console for the GMB page. But it requires you to be adding a utm tag to the website link of the page.
