I recently wrote a bot to mass claim Yelp listings and didn't hit any block hurdles. So, I don't think Yelp really throttles you when trying to verify a few 100 per week.
We did about 400 last week without any problems.
I would suggest you add a line somewhere in the GMB description that says it's a Kodiak Fitness Centers gym. You can also additionally include this in the homepage title - if that's going to be a problem, add it to the About Us page or equivalent for every gym.
Since you're not going to have...
Jon,
Yelp does block the number of claims you can make based on the IP address. We've run into this issue multiple times and the only way you can fix this is by using proxies from different c-classes.
I would suggest you purchase proxies from a service like MyPrivateProxy.com which is pretty...
Just got off the phone with my Yahoo Local sales rep. I've been trying to work out a bulk upload deal of their enhanced listings the past couple of weeks and it's been slooow to say the least.
I just heard from him that they no longer support bulk listings and the only way I could work with...

It is possible that these companies have crawlers that pick up business data as well as manual "data gatherers" who might be involved in picking up some of this data.
Remember, it is in their best interest to have duplicate listings of your business on their system since this forces you to pay...
It is for the same reason why ALL of your backlinks wont show up in SEMRush or any other tool. All of these guys have an index that doesn't truly capture everything.

Mike this typically happens because BrightLocal *might* be using a third-party cache like Google Custom Search to retrieve citations and also because of limitations in the search functionality on certain directories.
Some directories are extremely unreliable and their search doesn't work...
Back in the day, I experimented with offering pay-per-lead type services for local businesses. We ended up signing up almost 200 customers for this service and blew a lot of money without much results to show for.
We set up websites from scratch, call tracking, analytics, content and the whole...
