The client is in Birdeye... that's the only API that I'm aware of having access to the listings. There haven't been any changes to NAP or website. We did, at one point, add secondary categories via Birdeye, and that triggered several unverifications...
I have a client in the healthcare space. We're trying to get bulk verified. Google Support tells me that to be bulk verified, we first need to verify all locations.
HOWEVER... when the client reverifies a location (even with a live rep) that location becomes unverified again within 3-5 days...
Ditto... you are not alone. We bulk updated secondary categories using Birdeye and saw mass unverifications.
Can I ask what verticle and category your business is in? Mine was healthcare verticle, with the GBP primary category being nursing home.
The client has 40 locations, all of which are listed on their website. They were all previously verified, then 8 became unverified. We don't know why, but did see a common factor that each of those locations had images added to the GBP noted as "pending."

Here to underline all the above as well! We add the embedded Google Map to all location pages. It's great for UX, but also to add another unique element to the page specific to the location.
