Service Area Business - Multiple locations

I create a business listing for XYZ Plumbing. Their headquarters is at 12345 First Street Disneyland, CA 12345. So we create and verify this listing and set the GMB to display address. Now the owner ALSO has a service area for XYZ Plumbing in San Francisco, CA but no physical location...

Service Area Business - Multiple locations

Any one with experience and the plus'/minus' of setting up one brick and mortar location with a physical address and setting up additional service area GMBs using the same address for verification (but hiding the address in GMB) and using a different telephone number? I'm not sure what Google's...

Avg time Google takes to remove duplicate

Hi all, on average, how long does it take Google to remove a location marked closed 'duplicate' My concern is that it wont be removed - but simply show up as a permanently closed location because it has a different number / address. Thank you!

    Ranking Puzzle: What Happened Here?

Really cool example. Maybe this is the problem... The locations of each business overlap each other on Maps but are actually in two different locations with the same address (Vaughn and Thornhill overlap). The Running Room and King David. In Google Maps these locations overlap. See attached...

Monetizing Local - Google Testing New Paid Ads that Look Like a Pack - From #SMX

    Multiple Location Questions

This is such a common issue - that it makes me wonder why Google has not resolved this with a credible solution - that also eliminates out-right spam (i.e. the businesses that want to expand to new markets but aren't really servicing them) Generally speaking - Users are't looking for a plumber...

Client wants to sue Google for AdWords fraud

Indemnification clause's are pretty common among all businesses - but it doesn't release them of gross negligence - especially when you have an army of search marketers that would all agree this was a bad move by Google. I'd like to hear how Google justifies this move...

Client wants to sue Google for AdWords fraud

WOW!!!! I think this dentist may have a case. At the VERY least he should have the equivalent of free advertising... I know I've spoken with Google reps that give very harmful "advice"... But notice the disclaimer at the bottom of the email?? Good luck with this one - I wouldn't call it...

Client wants to sue Google for AdWords fraud

I actually had a dental client set up their own AdWords campaign and targeted the entire USA AND Canada with broad match terms like dentist and dental... The dentist did this for about 4 years until I inherited the account and had to be the bearer of bad news. Nothing wrong with taking on the...

Exciting Google Review News - Reviews in the Knowledge Panel

    Local Search Market Share

Have you considered using a service like Alexa - The Web Information Company or maybe Google trends? I guess it depends on why and how accurate you need the information to be or if you just want to know the difference in popularity.
