I have no clue what industry she is in. For smaller industries like this, i do agree she wont need it. but for many businesses that are trying to be successful, its very hard to do SEO and run your business at the same time.

Maybe having services listed on GMB profile , but not the webiste are what hurt rankings? Also, dont forget that the algortihm has been fluctuating quite a bit as of late and this could be part of the problem. they are known to break Shtt all the time and seem to revert when algo heats up...

Yes they are suspending as soon as the post card pin is entered. Then they force a video verification. Makes no sense. All recently. Handful. They are also very sloowwwwwwwww.

I tell my clients. Here is the work involved. Now tell me "do you think i can pay my employees or myself enough money if i only charged 250 a month for this service"? 10 clients will be 2500.. Makes no sense at all. quality over quantity. If a client cannot realize this, let them go...

If you can afford it, hire an SEO. You need experience on your side, not someone who will tell you what you want to hear. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. someone who actually has answers that are logical and based on experience. Business owners need to spend money to make money. ROI...

Exactly. I have made these changes and they help. Even redriecting an entire domain to contain keywords helped tremendously. they use PR to persuade and scare folks into following rules. Experienced SEO's know better.

That is not true at all. Everytime i fix inconsitent nap for clients, they move in rankings.... It makes no sense to say that. Small differences don't matter.. but variations of names, numbers and links to home or internal pages would matter and hurt you. I pickup SEO campaigns from SEO...
