Hi, We recently had a similar situation and Google Support re-bulk verified the business group under a new Google profile. It took some back and forth with support and providing the old bulk verified account details, but we got it fixed. We made sure the 2nd go round the bulk verification wasn't...
Hi Kurt,
I totally agree with Jason and Tim! It's not meaningful to reviewers or future customers if you're responding generically just to check the box. Responding with the same generic response to positive or negative reviews is almost worst than not responding at all. There's definitely a...
Hi! Neither the Yelp business listing or Yelp review will disappear if you delete the Yelp profile. Once you delete the profile, the business listing will become unclaimed, but still intact. Yelp does not remove business listings and only marks them as closed.
Interesting! I definitely wouldn't give up, because, if it's clearly an applicant, it should be removed. It does take us multiple attempts sometimes and, if necessary, we'll flag from multiple accounts as well.
HI! Yes, Google will remove a review from job applicants and we flag those under conflict of interest. They have been very slow with removals lately, so I recommend keeping an eye on it and reflagging if necessary. It should eventually be removed.
We work with several credit unions and this has been a HUGE, ongoing problem for them. We've flagged the reviews and profiles over and over for months, with no success. Then, out of the blue they started getting removed. It is such a pain, but I would say keep flagging and have others on your...
Hi Jaimie,
Yes, we create a GMB account for whatever email address they give us to use. We set up the account so they're the primary owner and give our agency account manager access. We don't typically login to their personal email accounts, unless it's a gmail and we're using it to setup GMB...
Hi, Jaimie, and happy Friday!
We ask our client for the domain email they want to use for their listings and we use it to create their listings for them.
If your client doesn't have a website, I wonder if it would help if you take advantage of the GMB website? Is their non-domain email at...
Hi Kym, We think the positives outweigh the negatives on the agency account. There may still be some risk, but probably no more than a non-agency account. This article is very helpful and provides info on how to avoid GMB account suspensions - [2020] Ultimate Playbook for Google My Business...
Hi Kym,
We use Google's Agency Account to manage our client listings and haven't had any issues. We like having all the listings in one place and it feels a bit more professional when getting access to client listings. Each client has a separate group and we add users based on the client...
Hi Jaimie, That is strange! I would try to delete and re-add in GMB and/or suggest the update from the live listing. I would also add the exact website URL. Currently, GMB shows Home | Norius Cleaning Services, but that link forwards to Home | Norius Cleaning Services, so I would add Home |...
Hi! I think it would be worth a try to flag the reviews within the GMB account. Google surprises us sometimes and we've had some success getting them to remove reviews like this. I would flag them as "Off-Topic," cross your fingers, and see what happens.
If Google won't remove, then I would...
Hi Colan! Yes, we work with business owners and brands that aren't sure the best way to respond to their reviews, especially the pesky negative reviews! We're able to take the emotion out and respond professionally and appropriately to help neutralize the negative feedback. Of course, we're also...
