This looks to me like Google is putting more weight on the related term "dental". Did a few searches in other competitive areas and sites with the word Dental in title are ranking #1.

Thanks for the link. I had originally been updating it before they came out with that new contact form. I'll try updating it again through that. Very curious if anyone has any experience how to handle an old address - report it closed, or update the address to the new one.
Has anyone had experience with updating an old address in Factual.com? A client of mine has an old address in their database and I've been unable to get Factual to fix it in their database. I've emailed with the Factual ID as they say to do and I've also submitted an API request many times...
Thanks - we ended up getting a new phone number and using that. Still a lot of work ahead, though.
I'd be interested in a beta of the DirectoryBug too.
Thanks,
Tom
Thanks Linda - yeah, it's going to be a lot of work either way. I think changing their phone will probably be the cleanest. They have a slightly different address now too, so in Google's eye's hopefully they'll be a new entity.
I'll go ahead and mark the others closed, but - fingers crossed -...
Our client purchased a dental practice that has a confused NAP scattered across the net from old doctors and old business name's at that address and phone. Some of these NAPs have the same phone and a slightly different street address 5218 E Fowler instead of 5208, etc.
All in all, to clean up...
Our client took over a practice from another doctor a couple of years ago, but hasn't created any local accounts for herself. There is an old auto-generated Google Places page for the old doctor that doesn't rank at all.
My question was whether to create a Google+ Business page with a Local...
I also have a related question. A doctors office we're working for just opened a satellite office in a neighboring town. They are there only 1 day a week, so they don't have a separate phone number for the location.
For Google+ Local, I know it's a good idea to have a separate phone # for the...
Linda - what you said about splitting off into a new duplicate may have happened.
Originally, once I confirmed the page, I clicked the See your listing on Google link and it gave me the error of "We currently don't support the location". However, the old listing (with both names) was still...
I just verified a Google + Local page for a client and updated a few things. They already have good ranking, but I removed one of the doctors from their listing title - it was Doctor Name & Doctor Name. The second doctor was no longer there.
Anyway, someone from Google called them immediately...
Hi Linda,
Thanks so much for your interest and help on this.
Here are the three listings involved:

I believe the title of this page used to be just the first doctor listed and the new doctor added himself when he purchased the practice.
I...
Wonderful advice so far.
One other question. It appears that even though I've claimed these listings, the edits I make aren't trusted or published. Has anyone experienced this? Anyway of getting Google to trust again or publish the listings?
Thanks,
Tom
Thanks Linda for catching me and helping me out here. Andrew - excellent points as well. Thanks for clarifying it that way. Google has made it very clear now that they will not merge or remove practitioner listings. I can understand now why this is an entire industry in itself.
It looks like I...
