Good afternoon, I rounded out last week with two new G-problems. How about you?
As I type this, a suspension just rolled in. LOL! I set up a new GBP yesterday, got business video option, uploaded a video to verify. Goes into Processing for 18 hours and just now, it's suspended due to a policy...
I'm in the same situation with a handful of profiles. We have verified the new listings with either an email/code or by recorded video. It's been more than 3 weeks and the listings are still "Processing". However, when I use the method as stated above, Google tells me these listings are not...
I am feeling the same level of pain. With more than 1,000 profiles, I get about 1-3 suspensions per week. The triggers are All. Over. The. Place.
I have done as little as add a tracking string on the web URL to get suspended.
I have set up a new business and provided a great video showing all...
Yes, as long as you own both listings, you can move the reviews. You will need to contact support and fill out their form for transferring reviews from one listing to another.
Hi Kurt, I always make sure I have a complete profile including the business name, category, postal address where customers can physically visit, phone number, website, logo, photo, and a full description of the business. The second thing I do is use Melissa Lookups and run an address check...
Update on this: I am now seeing the panel on the right-hand side, but the icons are now gone (edit profile, read reviews, photos, the 3-dot menu, etc.).

Google case Id : 0-6040000038147.
Thank you to everyone who commented and thank you, @JoyHawkins :)
I have to agree with @Giovanni Rosso and @Stefan Somborac – this is a bug!
I have submitted this issue with the Google Help Community here, so I'm hopeful this will be solved immediately.
I agree. Google doesn't like phone trees - you can't verify by phone when you have a phone tree. I stated this in my follow-up post earlier. This is precisely why I don't enter a phone number at this set-up step because if I enter a phone at this step and I'm served up a phone call or text...
@Brian - TGL so is this new as of today? I entered a new profile on Friday and omitted the phone number at this step.
I've been working in this space for 5 years, and I have never entered a phone number at this setup step. I always enter the URL and click Next.
Can someone confirm you are now...
Circling back on this... there were no extra spaces before or after my URL. When I click Next, nothing happens.
This is very odd - because even if I had errors in those two fields, the Skip button or the Back arrow to return to the previous screen should still function. The Skip button lights...
Thanks, Brian! I never input the phone number because of our phone tree, and I can't get a Google Code there to verify the business. I always input the website and get a code emailed to someone@thedomain.com.
After my post above ^ I thought I should try Incognito mode. No go!
I will ensure...
