In a recent post from Search Engine Land:
New research shows strong link between Google My Business photo quantity and search performance - Search Engine Land

• Businesses with more than 100 images get 520% more calls than the average business, while those with just one image get 71% fewer.
• Businesses with more than 100 images get 2,717% more direction requests than the average business, while those with just one get 75% fewer.
• Businesses with more than 100 images get 1,065% more website clicks than the average business, while those with just one get 65% fewer.

30 days after loading 100 images, I have not seen an impact.

It may be a "zero to 10" images thing.

I do always wonder about that kind of data that you cited. Is it that the business owners that go to the trouble to load photos naturally have more engagment, or is it the photos doing the work.

I 100% agree with this. I actually am going to be testing this on Sterling Sky's listing as we currently have zero images on our listing (the technical issue with photos wiped them all off months ago).

what did your test reveal Joy?

Not a whole lot. Couldn't see anything measurable. I wasn't able to test it on our listing but we did test on a few others that didn't have much going on.
