Anything going on with local rankings right now? (last week of january)

So this morning I found an email in my inbox that can be summarized as "Sales is panicking because it looks like every single of our dentist clients [we have about 60] has lost all their rankings. I want you to drop everything and look into this."

I don't want to dismiss the concerns out of hands, but...

• Problem #1 with that request is that our rank tracking is 100% manual and half the time 100% untrustworthy.
• Problem #2 is that we have no access to any analytics software. none whatsoever. Literally the only tool we have just repackages the GBP stats (and we all know how "reliable" those are!).
• Problem #3 is that a consistent problem with many of our clients in this vertical is a downright anemic influx of reviews where one every six months is above average.

And of course the fact that I have never done an analysis like covering such a large number of GBPs (ca. 60).

So I figure I'll start by asking here: In the last week or so, have you noticed across-the-board changes in any health related verticals, especially for GBPs who have low review velocity?

Turns out one of my coworkers hallucinated a pattern caused by (as I mentioned above) the terrible documentation of rankings in our internal systems.

Classic case of garbage in, panic out.
