Hi,

My client has their listings managed by Semrush via their local listing management. There are minor discrepancies in the business addresses across different listing but it's only in things like using "Suite" or "STE" instead of "#" in addresses that use a # sign in the GBP address or using "Ste" or a "3" sign on a listing's address when the actual GBP address uses "Suite" - things like that.

From what I know, it's important that your business info (NAP) is consistent across listings according to the format you have on GBP. Would these super minor discrepancies be a big deal or are they ok since they refer to the same address?

I was told by Semrush support that some companies like Apple, Yelp, and another one I forgot follow USPS's address format and that there's nothing they can do, but just want to make sure there's no risk by having those little discrepancies in the addresses.

Thank you in advance.

It doesn’t matter at all. NAP consistency hasn’t mattered in over 6 years. Google has never used suites as part of the ranking process.

The formatting doesn't matter, as long as the address and suite number are correct and match the GBP, you're good!
