I've been seeing Jumper Media everywhere talk about guaranteeing top 3 google map results without getting access to the profile. In their video, they mention they generate real human activity and 20-30 GPS drives per month (sounds like they're talking about people clicking "get directions" to the business). Is there a software that does this or how are they achieving this? Here's there VSL:

They're using the Direction request system, which is indeed a known ranking factor that has been used in the past (I,ve seen discussions about using this). It's a very black hat tactics that I would be fascinated to see what Google would do about if reported to them.

That being said, it's not possible to automate in any shape or form as I understand it (do note that I've seen it discussed in passing only). You have to actually set up multiple cell phones and literally drive around following the instructions, which is not exactly the most practical thing to do regularly (like fake profile views, this only works so long as you maintain it).

Gotcha, makes sense! I would assume they found a way to automate this, could be an internal tool they built but I'm not sure. I doubt they have real people driving around every single clients area. I was thinking it was just regular CTR manipulation

We indeed do have real people driving around :)

We actually just have real local people doing it. We gamify it through Gaming apps with in-app/push notifications and gamification around items in the game they are playing. Nothing black hat going on

Thanks to @ColtBoll, who shared an agency under the trial. Sadly, I don't have the data before the trial or test started. The agency added keywords to the Google Business Profile (GBP) name. I removed the keywords on November 10th, 2025. Sadly, the data is corrupted as somebody has been posting fake reviews on the GBP this month. The last five reviews appear to be fake. Four of five reviews came after the agency was publicly outed on Reddit. Both @JoyHawkins and @whitespark have discussed and demonstrated that review recency is a stronger ranking factor over the past few months.

The agency in question is also using Go High Level, so again, we don't have a clean test. According to Colt's other reply, it appears that I can take four to five months to see real traction. Again, we don't know what other SEO tactics are in play.

Here is the agency and keyword I have been tracking. Please let me know your thoughts.
