We work with some clients in the Oklahoma City area and I was checking some search results this morning. Came across this gem of an oddity: Top 3 organic results had zero optimization in their Title Tags. All 3 also have cookie cutter stock imagery/content, average to poor pagespeed and no discerning links that stand out.

Is this an anomaly that will sort itself out? Anyone else been noticing these trends? We've tracked the 1st result in the top 3 positions for several weeks now.

Curious if others are seeing anything similar. Feel free to share!

I'm in the UK which might make a difference but I see a different set of dentist in the top 10.

I also see Google has changed okc to Oklahoma City, OK, USA.

I got the same results as you @codyecp (Searched from New York, Nebraska and California).

Something to note is that maybe there are limited places actively doing SEo for dentists in OKC area? When you search for specific procedures, like dental implants, the landscape changes, and each of the results appears to be optimized by the user/developers.

I don't get the same type of results (unoptimized) when I search "dentist stl" (which would be St. Louis, MO area)
