If your agency works with the tree service industry, or if you are in it, there is a review attack underway. This is unrelated to the extortion attacks. The spammers are posting a series of 1-star reviews on each GBP, then moving on to the next. They are in several states: Texas, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Florida, to name a few. It appears that the profiles are being removed by Google or converted to A Google User. Here is a profile that left 1-star reviews in Austin, TX, and Jacksonville, FL. Several of the reviews have been removed. The A Google User reviews take several days to be removed.
I suspect these spammers are testing methods to post fake reviews so they can sell them. Here is another thread where spammers are playing around and testing their methods.
I have open threads on the forum, one has been escalated, while I await help on the other.
Please let me know if you are seeing similar review attacks.
