Hey everyone,
I have a client that owns a mortgage advisory business and operates with self employed mortgage advisers from a central office and have their own, well optimised GBP.
One of his advisers went rogue and setup his own GBP at the same address, with a different business name, all verified, but under his own, self employed business name, with business address listed, and he has a few reviews. He also has reviews on the main GBP, go figure.
How much damage is this causing to the main GBP profile? Are they competing? Does it matter as do they get two bites of the cherry so to speak, or do i follow my instincts and ask the self employed agent to close the account?
Can the accounts be merged?
We are doing a lot of work on the main GBP profile and website and feel the results are not as good as they could be, considering the main office is very central to their target area.
What's the play here, any help would be greatly appreciated!
