Hi all. One of my clients, a medical practice, is about to expand (currently located at 145 Smith St).

They've purchased a property next door, at which they plan the main entrance/reception to be located (i.e. 143 Smith St). The two properties will be adjoined to act as the one business location.

Ideally, we'd like change the address from 145 Smith St to 143-145 Smith St.

Question: Will I need to to any or all of the following:
  • Arrange a new postcard for 143 Smith St (or 143-145 Smith St)?
  • Contact GMB support?
  • Simply make the address change to their GMB profile (to match NAP elsewhere)?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Just start by "Simply make the address change to their GMB profile"

Such small change should not impact or trigger a new verification.

Important: Change the address on the website first and important citations
