I have a mobile locksmith client who verified his GBP at an address that is on the outskirts of the city. He has acquired a new address in the downtown area (very close to the city center) and has all of the necessary evidence to verify the new address. (phone bill, Secretary of State, local license, and signage). The problem is that because he is a mobile locksmith, he does not serve customers at the new address, and wants to keep the address hidden.
I know that he will rank higher in maps if the address is visible or if we create a new listing and transfer reviews. The problem with the new listing is that the phone number won't change, nor do I think it's a good idea to change it.
Any advice is appreciated.
