Hey all. Hoping someone else has been able to find a fix for this issue.

We manage listings for a few hundred clients, and with Apple Business Connect launching, we've been setting up a lot of listings. The issue is, we're not able to verify listings at the third-party agency level. We've been setting up Apple ID's to create ABC accounts for different clients and client groups, but we can only create 10 accounts with our company phone number. We also need to have access to this phone number, as it is needed for 2-factor verification with every log-in. To supplement this, we create some with phone numbers of individual team members, but this is obviously not scalable across hundreds of clients.

Has anyone found a workaround to this cap to the amount of Apple IDs you can create with a single phone number? Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Hi there,

Is there a specific reason you are not using a Third-Party Partner Account? If you manage that many listings, having them all go through one company-wide account makes sense. Once you set up an account, you can invite team members to join as administrators which will prompt them to create their own Apple IDs to log in with. After they are set up, they will be asked to complete a 2FV with the phone number they provided on their account every time they log in. Each team member will be able to manage the listings under the Third-Party Partner Account without having to use separate Apple IDs for each client.

Let me know if this helps!

@VeraH We have access to client accounts, so would we just invite our Agency account email to have them show up in one account?
Yes, that's a solution. In the client account, click "Users" and "+Invite" to add your email address. You can sign in and start managing the business/location if this email address is already a registered Apple ID. If it's not set up with Apple, you'll need to go through the steps of creating an Apple ID before managing it.
