I believe I did merge them manually a while back. The issue I had was that after making changes on my local place page, I wasn't seeing the changes propagate in the search results.
Also, when I try to login to my places page, it takes me to the dead page. Will that disappear automatically?
Hey guys. So my business has two different dashboards that are accessible to me: the old places page and a new Google + page. When I sign into Google's places website, it takes me to the old dashboard. However, on my personal Google + page, apparently I've setup a Google+ business page and can...
I think you misunderstood about the G+ linking; I was going to link from the G+ profile to that respective location's page.
For example: "attorney.com/detroit-office" is for the Detroit location. The Detroit G+ page would link to "attorney.com/detroit-office."
Btw, a side question, my...
Now if I did that, place the 3 location addresses above the fold, assuming I have my G+ profile page that links to that homepage, wouldn't it confuse Google because there are 3 locations on that page?
I was thinking about tagging the most populous city to the front page, while creating...
Thanks for the link! But each example says that each site has a link to that respective office's location. What's the difference between having the NAP in schema format for each office in the footer versus a link from that city's page in the footer?
Thank you so much Linda! Your help is always appreciated! So, Google doesn't take the data fed to the aggregators with respect to practice areas and go off that? I didn't think that the description "Hermiz Law is a full-service general practice law firm helping clients with various legal...
It is still on my site, I was referring that business out to another attorney. I guess I don't understand why others are ranking higher than I am in other practice areas and it seems like I have a stronger listing (more citations, more content on my site, etc.).
I had you look into my listing a...
Hey guys - I've been trying to fix this issue for quite some time, but haven't got it completely to work yet. I used to advertise and market bankruptcy pretty heavily and my listing shows up for a bankruptcy attorney.
However, I want to change this so that I can get calls from my other...
Thanks for your response! My business is a law office, with different practice areas - criminal defense, divorce law, etc.
I'm having a hard time showing up in the local results for those practice areas, not sure if I should go with the generalized "attorney" tag on my G+ profile. Everytime I...
Hey guys - I've got a business which multiple locations, what are your opinions on using a subdomain for each address versus a subfolder. For example, using "location.business.com" vs "business.com/location".
Any ideas? Thoughts? Opinions?
Thanks in advance!
Seems to make sense, the links/link-building efforts may be considered spammy as well (if Google has those filters in place) unless the links are coming from targeted (directory/review/hyper-local sites) sites.
Thanks Linda!
Hey guys, this might be a dumb question. Should we be building links to the business' G+ page? Does this in anyway, shape or form affect rankings or help at all?
Logically, I would think yes. Links from the business' site, directories, or other relevant sites.
Anyone have any...
