Update! We got the post card days ago, I put in the pin 2 days ago, the verification is still pending as of now. In my experience, this typically means Google will ask for verification again at some point.

I would also update the publish date in the CMS whenever you make an edit. Helps Google know it's revised, fresh content.

Nice find Stefan! I like Google’s verification tool, but they really need to add a search feature for those of us using agency accounts to manage Google listings. The tool is a nightmare to use if you have access to hundreds or thousands of listings.

I'm actually seeing this for a client! It's pulling in their YouTube video data - and what I assume means clicks to their site.

Honestly, no idea. The profile was verified and claimed using an email the client lost access to, and we had to go through the request ownership form, so maybe that has something to do with it. Or maybe this is a fluke, and Google will ask for another round of verification after we enter the PIN.
