Client has 2 distinct businesses, general dentist office and TMJ office, separate locations. Both are moving to a new combined location next year, but the TMJ office has to move into the current dentist office for about 6 months.

Seems like it may be a headache because there won't be any permanent signage, etc at this temp location (it will be properly set up at the new permanent location). I'm expecting we'll need to reverify as soon as I change it to the temp location, but doubtful we'd even pass verification.

Any suggestions?

Sounds tricky indeed! Google does not have a good process for temporary moves.

Yes, you will likely be asked to reverify when you change the address on the TMJ listing. Or worse, the profiles could get merged since the businesses will be at the same address, which can confuse Google. To avoid this, you will need signage for the TMJ business and ideally a separate suite number.

What will be the situation at the general office in terms of setup? Will they have a separate office space for TMJ doctors and office staff? What kind of separation will there be between the businesses? It needs to be super clear to Google that they are two separate businesses, or else it could cause issues.

Also, assuming the TMJ business has a separate website and brand name, add the general dentist office address to that website, along with some content on the homepage explaining the move and that they will be at the dentist office temporarily. This should help Google understand the move.

Also, make sure the profiles have unique phone numbers.
