Is there any harm in creating a "Top Rated on Google" badge and placing it on a website? The client has 100's of five-star reviews. All legit.
I couldn't find any documentation that would indicate a violation.
Thanks for the advice Eric. This is an HR Consultant and using their home address might be a tough sell, even if we showed it as a service area. Still have the issue of other directories that don't offer the service area option.
They are talking about moving their location now that I brought...
Bringing life to this old thread, I have a situation with a client using Regus. They are listed at the same address (suite 200) along with multiple businesses. If I search for the address, about 10 companies come up.
I called support and spoke with a supervisor. He suggested to list as a...
Our process is to enter the keywords in the "Get Ideas" section, set the targeting location, add relevant keywords to plan, export the plan, sort by volume (highest to lowest) and competition (lowest to highest), then copy spreadsheet to our Google doc.
The 2-3 top volume keywords are what we...
Thanks Colan. We use the keywordtool.io for the auto suggest. I forgot about the "related to" at the bottom of the SERP page. I'll add that to our process.
Does anybody have a process to share for local keyword research? It seems to be our largest time suck. Ours is as follows:
Keyword Research Process for Local SEO
Client Intake - Client to list all revenue generating services
Keywordtool.io - Use this tool to discover Google Suggest keywords...
Thanks Linda for the advice. I share the same thoughts. It's odd to have that as the URL, but it has been around and has a PR3. I haven't looked at his analytics yet.
My only other concern about a URL like 9903303.com (not his actual) is that it looks spammy. This is local attorney with only...
Here is a new one for you folks. I have a new prospect I am meeting with that has his 7-digit phone number as his URL. His domain has been live since 2005. He needs plenty of SEO advice, but I am perplexed on advising him on this odd URL.
Any suggestions?
Wow! That was quick. I love this forum.
That makes perfect sense for the home and contact pages since they are ranking well in the pack for Santa Cruz.
We plan to optimize all of their service pages (8 core services) for San Jose and see how that works.
Thanks Linda!
We have a client located here in Santa Cruz that ranks well on their targeted keywords, but it doesn't really matter because there is no traffic. They would like to tackle San Jose, which is a much larger market.
Should we create new geo targeted pages with unique (more costly approach) for...
Andrew,
Thank you very much for your insight. I'll run this by the owner. You are right, from a branding perspective, it would make sense to have his existing three laundrymats under a single name with the delivery feature as part of their service. That makes good marketing sense.
The snag...
Hi Linda,
Wow. I already love this forum. That was fast!
The laundry mats each have separate names and the delivery service (LCE) has one name. So we are talking about 4 brands total - 4 separate businesses under one owner.
My take on using the laundry mat addresses is that even though...
I have a new client with 3 laundry mat locations (spread across 15 miles) and a mobile service for laundry pickup - 4 businesses total. Each laundry mat has it's own name, but the service consists of one name.
Should I suggest to my client to create a Google+ local page for each physical...
