Hello Margaret,
I am reopening this chat once again. I recently saw a similar message after a GBP suspension, but I noticed new wording that says "A Google Account associated with this Business Profile is not in good standing."
I am curious to know what it means by "not in good standing"...
Thanks Keyser,
Not understanding what's not related. Are we all seeing suspensions en masse? Triggered by edits, posts etc?
And concerning Google sweeping on categories - we have seen it, in highly spammed verticals. But any thoughts why Google would sweep restaurants - stone and brick, what...
@Colan Nielsen
I'm seeing today a bump of +20 suspensions within 1-2 hour on listings that are old, obviously legit, stone and brick pizzerias. If you look closer, you can see that those suspended listings have the same pattern - deleted images by google with a "!" on a triangle sign replacing...
Hi,
Can someone from the GMB Product Experts help me to reinstate a business listing for a pizzeria that has been in business for more than a decade, listing not suspended for years, constantly optimized, +4.3 star/+200 reviews, running GMB posts every month, etc. and suddenly got a hard...
I agree Keyser, by the book, no one can disable an appeal.
Hopefully, I might have some fresh info on this topic in the upcoming period, and I'll post them here.
THNX for the good discussions
Actually I don't have a real case to share right now, and if I face one, I would be glad to share it with the community.
I wonder what @Chris Ratchford did to solve a similar case? See this thread.
I'm just trying to find out if any company, like HIBU and YEXT, can lock a listing (they sell...
I understand all that you stated.
But not sure if I'm clear enough. Maybe I should ask: How HIBU disables the Appeal option?
Obviously HIBU managed listings shared above, not having an Appel option, is not what we see every day, or better said, compared to normal cases (example by Online...
Thanks, both @keyserholiday and @Damian Rollison,
Quite clear feedback on the Updates/Edits part.
Obviously again you have to monitor your listings, and accept/deny updates, even if you subscribe with them for that lock system and give them a lot of $$.
Yet, into my post, there is the second...
Hi,
GMB listings management has lots of issues nowadays, faced by owners, or authorized third parties.
Third parties often compete to manage one's GMB listing on behalf of the owner and are on the verge of complying with GMB Third Party rules. A third party (authorized by the owner) can be the...
It seems that it can take 3 days at least for edits to go live. I assume all are manually checked.
Please let us know if got accepted, and if all its fine with the listings.
Thanks - stay safe :)

Hi Joy,
This is interesting. Can you help with these questions:
- Did they update the GMB Help section on this? Where is this info published? Can't find it.
- Do you think "Temporarily" means that GMB owner will have to revert back the original name when all this COVID thing finishes? And they...
Hi,
I want to try and run some posts with GIFs.
From what I have read until now, there is a possibility, but not sure if that's in compliance with Google rules (guides on posts don't mention guides on GIFs, just for photos and videos, and what you need to comply with), but there is one...
Exactly, thus I decided to make some fresh pictures, update their GMB, from different angles, as G recomends. Soon I will upload some others, with their team, inside etc.
Yet I replied to Colan on the main issue I have to solve!
P.S.
By the way, I use your product to track local ranking :)
That's the same location Colan, the location PIN is correct, yet Google Streetview is old (the year 2014 - see pic attached), and the business has updated the storefront with new colors and panels - see pic attached).
The only issue I have had doubt to fix it the following:
- Officially, the...
