Patient writes 1 star review for dentist at all 5 locations...

That's true but it could be used as a serious business tool to find out "how we did." I find that kind of follow-up usually inspires a genuine review from the customer.

Get Better Content from your Local Clients by Giving them these 4 Suggestions

I love these suggestions. I also love the mention about charging $50 for a post. I work with small to medium size businesses and setting a price for posting is always a difficult balance. It's always nice to see what others are thinking and doing.

    Verifying GMB Accounts

Yes, after everything I submitted they refused to Verify the business. It is a restaurant, it has a Google 360 streetview, Facebook page, Website, Google Webmaster verification, Google Analytics account. I'll have to see if I can set up the Video call, but that seems like a lot to do for every...

    Verifying GMB Accounts

Hi! I'm a one person "agency". I do web design, SEO, social media marketing and whatever else a customer might need. I like to work with small businesses that need the help. My problem is I often have clients that don't receive mail at their business. Especially since I live in Puerto Rico. I'm...

Local Guides are posting bogus photos/reviews

I saw something with one of my favorite restaurants. The "Local Guide" gave them a one. His comment was "the food was excellent but too expensive!" I didn't think a 1 was fair or responsible for the Guide. So the restaurant has all 5's except for this 1. There definitely needs to be a sense...

    Let's talk about email marketing

Education! I'm using email for exactly that purpose. It creates a personal contact with my customers where I can dole out bits of information that help them. Selling the benefits of email to my customers is kind of like selling the importance of great content. How do I do that? I can't write it...

I've been signed up and done a couple of reviews. I'm using it to get local businesses on the map and then if they need any further help..............:) I do try to be clear that I'm working WITH Google, not officially FOR Google. Haven't done any meet-ups yet, maybe once I get a few more...

    Using Subdomains

Let me see if I can Colin. My idea is to create a local directory, based on cities, for restaurants. I would like to have a main page such as restaurantsnewyork.com. On this page, besides advertising, I would like to have the listing of different cities. I thought, can't say why exactly, that...

    Using Subdomains

Hi! I'm working on a local directory. I know there have been other posts on whether they are worth the effort or not but I have a system that I think can be monetized and expand my local business. I will share later so I can get some feedback. My niche is local restaurants. My question is...
