I think @JoyHawkins is right. I've seen several of them and they all have ads running. I've also tried on both desktop and mobile and have only seen them show up on mobile as @Margaret Ornsby pointed out.
Here's a WalMart:
Sounds that way to me, and then I guess just hope they properly merge it and carry over the reviews? I'm baffled that's their only resolution and there's not another way verify.
Great thread!
@Josh Gill, I'm assuming you haven't done anything else to your site in the meantime that would have an impact on these rankings, and these are just a result of Google indexing the citations from the page you made?
Really neat idea & experiment. I definitely want to give this a try!
Phil asked some good questions to check out.
In addition to reviews (which itself can be a big factor in click-throughs and phone calls), I have seen something as simple as an incorrect address the contact form sends to be the problem. I would definitely check to make sure the contact form is...
Looks very neat! Excited to play around with it.
Just going off of what I've seen so far, it looks like this can be a great help to communicate to potential clients and business owners how important their GMB page is in a visually-clean and clear way!
How do you like Freedcamp, Tim? I'm looking to try out a new project management system.
Does anyone here have experience with SEO Powersuite? Thoughts on it?
Hey @anorriss, you're more than likely going to just have to merge them all into the Oxford Street GMB page if you haven't already. Similar to what Joy said since these are all technically the same business (same offering, same category, etc.) you won't be able to have 3 at one location.
I...
Thank you for sharing this! There are some really interesting stats in here. My favourite was that 93% of people read reviews in 2017 compared to 67% in 2010, and that the biggest reason more don't focus on it is because of lack of time.
Great stuff!
I noticed this earlier today as well. Pretty interesting. Thought it was quite the hike from 300 to 1500!
I do agree with what Ben said about keeping the post length in the 100-300 threshold. After that it becomes lengthy, and if someone is going to be reading something longer than that they...
Definitely stick with one website. As mentioned in previous posts, acquiring links and building authority is much easier with one website than it is with two. I would just make a separate page or section on the website and fill that with good content around Kitchens, where you can explain your...
Hey Ninja - As Joy mentioned, as long as the services are fairly related you should have no issue ranking different terms in the Map Pack.
Take physio clinics for example - there are many out there that rank for physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiro phrases, etc. While all...
I agree with Colan that it makes the most sense to just update the listing to the new location as that is where your customers will be going.
Just a heads up though that if you have reviews at your old listing, there's a good chance they will be wiped when you update the address to the new...
