I am in the beginning stages of some consulting for a local chiropractic business in the ATL area.
I pulled in the local SERP today, and I am definitely perplexed. Now this is a "keyword + location" search performed in a different city, so I know it doesn't behave exactly the same as pulling it...
So, for a fun weekend project, I am attempting to roll my own version of a local rank grid report (a la FalconEyes or LocalViking).
I already have a pretty good handle on the Google Maps Places API, but in implementing it I have come across a question:

Thanks, Phil. I think the name is sufficiently unique and in my own slightly biased opinion, a very strong brand name. :)
How would you set up the URL structure in that case? Would you create a landing page for local or would you just use the root domain for citations and such?
