    Google Hotel Booking Questions

Thanks Suleyman. I have done some digging around and found some useful videos produced by Google which explains the process, for example, this one. It would appear that an individual hotel can be included under the blue button referred to in earlier posts but it requires technical knowledge...

    Google Hotel Booking Questions

Is Hotel Runner an official partner of Google's and therefore available on the blue button to Book Now in the Knowledge Graph? I haven't seen it listed as such. This review site doesn't seem to give it much of a boost if it is the same system that you refer to - HotelRunner Reviews - 7 Reviews...

    Google Hotel Booking Questions

When you find a hotel Knowledge Graph, it normally has a blue button saying "BOOK A ROOM". 1/ Who determines which booking services appear when you click on the button? 2/ If the hotel has its own booking system, is it possible for that to be included? If so can it be included as the first...

Help - Google Posts not showing

I am answering my own help query here having done some research. Google's help system within GMB says that it does not currently offer the Post feature for accommodation related businesses. That does not explain why my client could not see my live post, but that is not serious.

Help - Google Posts not showing

I have a client in Scotland (I am based in the UK) with a listing for a Holiday Home Letting Agency and there is no menu item in the GMB Dashboard for Posts. I was trying to show the feature to the client and what was very odd was that if they looked at my own businesses Knowledge Graph as an...

Google's new posts - scheduling automated posting tool?

Breaking news - the service eClincher (which I find excellent anyway) has added GMB posts to its list of features.

Linda That makes total sense, thank you. I think my clients will understand the logic. Regards Thomas

    Holiday Homes & GMB

Holiday Home is a category available in the GMB dashboard but Google states that they are not eligible for a listing on GMB. One of my clients appears to have been able to set up several holiday homes with their own GMB listing but another has just had their first attempt suspended, I suspect...

    Where has Google Plus gone?

James, that is exactly what I was looking for and I don't know how I missed it as I follow Tim Capper and it is now a couple of months since it was written. Many thanks. Thomas

    Where has Google Plus gone?

I have been really busy on another project and have not done much in the Google Business dashboard other than check out new features like Posts. Before the recent changes there were links to things like the G+ page of each location but now it is not shown (at least I can't find it). Is this...

Grade.Us vs GetFiveStars vs Whoever Else

BrightLocal have a great review monitoring tool which is essentially free if you use any of their other tools.

Why Aren't More Local Pros Talking about Content Marketing?

Most of my clients are local and sometimes they rank well for one local search term but not well for another that they would expect to rank for. In those circumstances I cannot think of any strategy that works better than content marketing, perhaps backed up by some Schema Markup. I would be...

    Citations not indexed

James, sorry for late response but thanks for the tip and I will give it a try.

    Citations not indexed

I have used various citation building services and some have been complete failures because Google has not indexed them even though they exist. One of my main tools is BrightLocal and it was because I use them that I was able to see that the new citations were not showing up for some of these...

    SweetIQ - Anyone Used It?

I had a demo recently and was blown away. I have recommended it to a prospective client with about 100 locations. It is designed for multi-location organisations and so not directly comparable with many other tools.
