One of my plumbing website clients starting using a white-labeled service that it turns out is Local Viking Geo Booster. If you are unfamiliar with it, it's pretty cool for generating content for service-based businesses. Each field service technician gets access to an app where they are asked to post a one liner about the job they are working on together with the address and photos. That information gets sent back to the manager who can choose to publish it to GBP or to a website. There is a Wordpress plugin that adds the content to a site along with the photos and a map with job location pins.

I think it's a great idea for adding local content to geo pages and the site is doing well in search.

Anybody else using this for client work? I'm thinking about adding it to my toolbox. I'm not sure whether "business moments" added through the app can be tagged by region. If so, that could be helpful for adding to location pages.

Thats a great tool to add unique, relevant content to geo pages! I have never used this tool, but I have clients who use PinParrot which is a similar product, works great!

When looking at the source code for sites with PinParrot, I've noticed that it says GeoBooster, meaning it could be a white label for the same app.

PinParrot is essentially Local Brand Manager (which is Local Viking) white labeled to say PinParrot. You are paying a massive upcharge every month to have them complete the Moments posts via the Geo Booster integration.

The difference in price for one client of mine $400 usd per month for 3 locations and do the posts themselves or $2200 usd per month plus an up front set up fee from PinParrot ... the only value PinParrot is adding for that fee is they are doing the posts. They are almost certainly outsourcing that labour overseas in the 4-8 per hour range.

I can't say how effective it is. I don't know if I think the moments / geoboost post actually boost your rankings. However I do think they are decent social proof and would definitely up the chance of a conversion when somebody does land on your page and can see a map with all of the jobs you've done and reviews from customers etc
