This is a new one.
A new Google account was set up info@brandedcompany.com and the Accounting Firm GBP was created using that Google account in May of this year. Branded photos and signage were added to the GBP and 5 reviews over the next few months.
It's a friend of mine so I wasn't actively maintaining the GBP but I did notice that it was suddenly not available in my management platform (LV) - I had originally authorized it via the branded Google account.
When I took a look at her phone I saw an email that the branded email Google account had been suspended:
https://share.thegroovylab.io/i/CYh0ej
I also had added a Gmail account as a secondary owner (just in case) and tried to invite one of my Google Accounts to the GBP as the secondary owner . . . that failed.
I tried to remove the Primary Owner from the GBP . . . that also failed.
I went in to the permissions for the secondary owner (that I was logged in as) and assigned the permission of Primary owner, that worked.
There was an immediate suspension on the GBP due to one of the accounts having violated Google T&C (which is strange because that account was initially already attached to the GBP).
I then went back in to the GBP and removed the suspended account so currently only the Gmail account is attached.
I initiated the appeal on the branded account and gave the details that the account was just to manage the GBP and has not been used anywhere else (this process is supposed to take 2 business days so we will see what happens).
Now when I look at that GBP, I see the option to claim the business as though it is no longer managed (even though she has access to the dashboard for it, it could be the situation where the NEXT step after I select "manage now" tell me it's already being managed).
At least the location was not hidden and the reviews are still up.
Any one have any ideas what could cause a branded email suspension that literally was only used attached to a GBP?
