Business Category edit is stuck

I have a client who runs a spray foam insulation business. Somebody set up his GBP and selected "airbrushing" as his business category. I switched the main category to Insulation and added spray foam. Some other edits were accepted but this one is stuck. He has 3 reviews from the past which clearly indicate his correct category. His website indicates his correct category. It has been a couple weeks.

So you now have access to the listing but it won't let you change the category?

Usually this happens when a 3rd party tool was given access to the listing and locks it. I'd check to see if they were using Yext or SEMRush.

You can also contact Google support about it and they can likely assist.
