Does Squarespace Analytics apply data changes/reversions?

A client has had a problem where his profile gets rewritten every few weeks. This has all the hallmarks of an API connexion. The only thing in his account I can see (well, ONE of his account. He has sent screenshots but didn't even specify for which of his two accounts these were for...) that could potentially be relevant is "Squarespace Analytics Search Console".

We've never run into it before, so we have no idea: can that apply API changes to a GBP?

Not sure, but if you remove access and the edits stop, then you can assume it is this tool. If they continue, then you know it's not this tool.
